The X-ray Spectroscopy Group operates and continuously upgrades a world-leading suite of synchrotron radiation beamlines and associated support facilities dedicated to materials science, physics, chemistry, Earth and planetary science, but also health sciences, environmental sciences, and cultural heritage. The group's portfolio includes the ID12, ID20, ID21, BM23, ID24, ID26, ID28, and ID32 beamlines. The X-ray Spectroscopy Group also encompasses the micro-manipulation lab and the sample environment support unit. The group is dedicated to advancing scientific research and technological development by fostering collaborations, providing user support, developing instrumentation, and conducting in-house research.
