Data treatment
SYNCmoss
SYNCmoss is a software developed at ID14 and used by many users to fit data obtained with a synchrotron Mössbauer source (SMS) as well as with conventional Mössbauer spectroscopy. Its main advantage is that it allows to extract the shape of the SMS instrumental function and utilize it further for fitting the experimental spectra.
SYNCmoss has a graphical user interface and a tutorial (how-to-use presentation) which makes it user-friendly. It includes a large set of models along with possibilities to create functionals, distributions, and correlations that makes it able to fit almost any Mössbauer spectrum.
REFTIM
The program REFTIM calculates and fits the time spectra of the nuclear resonant reflectivity from any multilayer structure containing 57Fe resonant nuclei for given grazing angles.
In the last version 6.0 the calculation and fit of the prompt and delayed reflectivity curves for the same model of the structure which can be done simultaneously with time spectra is added. A new feature is the possibility to have the automatic division of the interface functions for each hyperfine interaction nuclear density into steps for reflectively calculations.
