ICT 2027 is coming to Grenoble

ICT , the International Conference on Industrial Computed Tomography, is a leading annual event that, for the past 15 years, has brought together the global computed tomography community, including industry professionals, researchers, imaging scientists and equipment suppliers.

From material characterisation and dimensional metrology to automated inspection and advanced reconstruction algorithms, ICT offers a unique platform to present and discuss the latest developments in industrial CT (computed tomography) technologies and their wide-ranging applications.

The programme traditionally features keynote lectures, an industry day and oral and poster sessions showcasing peer-reviewed research. The latest edition, held in Austria in February 2026, addressed topics such as high-resolution CT, 3D material characterisation, data evaluation and advances in CT instrumentation, amongst others.

We are delighted to announce that the next edition, ICT 2027, will be hosted in Grenoble in March 2027, with the ESRF acting as coordinator.

Recently awarded the title of European Innovation Capital 2026 and set against the French Alps, Grenoble stands out for its unique concentration of large-scale research infrastructures, high-tech industry, start-ups and academic excellence. The city offers an exceptional ecosystem for imaging science and technological innovation, making it an ideal setting to foster exchange, strengthen collaboration and spark new partnerships at the interface between research and industry.
