CARAC is the annual event dedicated to characterisation techniques serving the electronics sector and related fields. CARAC 2025 is an exclusive forum addressing real-world challenges in materials characterisation, particularly for the semiconductor and electronics industries.

This edition, CARAC is led by IRT Nanoelec, featuring contributions from our esteemed partners: the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL), the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA-Leti – PFNC), the Laboratory of Subatomic Physics and Cosmology (CNRS-LPSC), the Néel Institute, the Consortium des Moyens Technologiques Communs (CMTC), and SERMA Technologies.

Returning this December, CARAC 2025 marks a special milestone — 10 years of PAC-G, celebrating a decade of connecting research and industry around advanced characterisation and reliability in microelectronics.

The event will take place on 11 December 2025 at the EPN Campus in Grenoble (Seminar Hall) and will how state-of-the-art characterisation tools can help address today’s challenges in failure analysis, process reliability and sustainable materials.
