The European Synchrotron Light Source Workshop (ESLS) is an annual event designed to give the synchrotron community the opportunity to keep abreast of operation and developments taking place in facilities throughout Europe.

The 30th European Synchrotron Light Source workshop will be hosted by the ESRF on 14 and 15 December in Grenoble, France. The workshop programme will cover all relevant aspects of the design, construction, operation and improvement of synchrotron light sources.  It will focus on storage ring based sources and will be divided into four parts:

- Operation & upgrade/development status of each facility,
- Energy and sustainability proposed as a topical subject,
- Visit of the ESRF Tunnel,
- Optional visits of the ESRF SSAs, ID Lab & Power Supply.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge.  As is the custom, the ESRF will cover two nights' accommodation for up to two participants from each institute.  A third participant and an additional night's accommodation may be possible on request.
