Where to stay in Grenoble ?

You will find here a table with suggestions of hotels, where prices have been negotiated for the ESRF. You can also find available hotels on the tourist office web site. Note that tram B is joining the Avenue des Martyrs (with the "Grenoble Presqu'île" stop close to ESRF) to downtown Grenoble in 15mn, therefore public transportation will be easy to downtown hotels.
