EXAFS samples

Cryostats

For what concerns EXAFS apparata, users have the choice between a liquid Helium/N2 cryostat (T=10-450 K) and a liquid-nitrogen oven-cryostat (T=77-550 K). The dimensions of the related sample holders are shown the pictures below and have to be considered prior to the sample preparation.

Insitu treatments

Treatments at high temperature (up to 900C) and controlled atmosphere can be carried out in the ESRF microtomo cell. 

 

Liquid samples

In case of liquid samples LISA can provide glass or kapton capillaries.

User cells

For those users that wish to install a cell in the second chamber (ex catalytic cells) here we provide a picture with the dimensions useful for the design.
