Alternatively, you can access BM07 through the ESRF call for proposal as 1/3rd of BM07 time is allocated to ESRF beam-time.

Sample preparation

All samples must use the B5 base (Spine type) :

Caution: make sure that your caps are empty in the center for a correct grip of the sample changer:

• Frozen crystals have to be mounted on B5 base (Spine type) with 21 mm pin length (from HamptonResearch, Molecular Dimension or Mitegen) and placed in Unipucks. Our sample changer can host up to 17 unipucks but we don't recommend to plan to collect more than 10 unipucks per 24 hours.
• If required, samples can be frozen on the beamline. A sample preparation room is available for this operation.
• Samples at room temperature in capillaries can also be mounted on SPINE caps. In this specific case, the transfer to the goniometer head will have to be performed manually.
