The European Photon and Neutron (EPN) Science Campus is located in Grenoble in South East France, about 3 hours by high-speed train from Paris, 2 hours by bus from Geneva, and 1 hour by high-speed train from Lyon.

How to reach Grenoble and the EPN site

Tram line "B" :

- serves downtown Grenoble, including the bus and railway station. It allows easy access (even at night) from downtown Grenoble to the ESRF.

- its terminus - 'Oxford' - is situated just 350 metres from the site entrance.

Site Access and Badges


Access to EPN Campus site (map)

The site is a restricted area and you will be asked to report in at the site entrance on arrival. You will need to produce proof of identification (e.g. passport, ID card but NO driving licence) to enter.

You will be given:
* a visitor badge at the site entrance which is your site access badge. You will be asked to present it at the site entrance each time you wish to enter on site during the period of the event. This badge will also allow you to access the Cryo-EM facility for the practicals;
* a workshop badge on Tuesday morning to have lunch/dinner at the onsite restaurant.

Please wear these badges on site over the whole period of the event.

Accommodation & catering information


Accommodation at the Residence Marie-Curie Grenoble


We will organise accommodation at the Residence Marie-Curie Grenoble for the Cryo-EM participants from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th May (4 nights maximum), provided that the request for accommodation arrangement is made through the registration form. The accommodation expenses will be taken in charge by the organisers.

Breakfast will be provided at the residence Marie-Curie. The reception of the residence is open from 8am to 7pm. In case of arrival outside the opening hours please contact us.

Meals


Please note that there won't be any dinner organised on Monday 22nd.

All the meals starting Tuesday 23rd (lunch) till Thursday 25th (lunch) will be held on site at the EPN campus restaurant.

Don't forget to wear your workshop badge and a mask to access the restaurant!
