The European Photon and Neutron (EPN) Science Campus is located in Grenoble in South East France, about 3 hours by high-speed train from Paris, 2 hours by train or bus from Geneva, and 1 hour by high-speed train from Lyon.

Tram line "B" :

- serves downtown Grenoble, including the bus and railway station. It allows easy access (even at night) from downtown Grenoble to the ESRF.

- its terminus - 'Oxford' - is situated just 350 metres from the site entrance.

Access to EPN Campus site (map)

The site is a restricted area and you will be asked to report in at the site entrance on arrival. You will need to produce proof of identification (ONLY passport or ID card) to enter.

You will be given two badges:
* At the site entrance: a visitor badge which is your site access badge. You will be asked to present it at the site entrance each time you wish to enter on site during the period of the event.
* At the registration desk: a workshop badge to access the workshop and the on site restaurant.

Please wear theses badges on site over the whole period of the event.

The registration desk is at the ground floor of the ESRF central building, main entrance.
