We offer two Delta SM6000 series DC power supplies, one SM15-400 and one SM70-90, each equipped with internal Ethernet and fast programming options (smaller smoothing capacitors on output). These are controlled by voltage input and offer low noise (0.8 mV and 2 mV rms) ripple and 10-5 stability in CV mode over long periods. They operate on 0-5V FS digital input from SPEC to provide 0-15 V or 0-70 V output. Output is also via Ethernet with 0.2% accuracy at full scale. In parallel, separate circuits provide thermometer readings for visual estimation of the temperature. SPEC programming allows for scanning in voltage, current or, latterly, power with continuous monitoring and correction of output versus absolute setpoint power via internal (i.e. coded) PID. The scans may be linear or complex e.g. sinusoidal, for diffusivity. As per all other SPEC-driven scans, triggering can be enabled, and all temperature parameters are recorded. Temperature control and record is entirely separate from any other control session. The transfer of next file number for each datum is transfered between sessions, for ease of inspection of temperature conditions for each diffraction data point.
