Microtomography is an imaging technique based on radiography. It is the same principle as the medical scanner, but using synchrotron radiation allows to reach much higher resolution.

At ID19 we have 3 stages:

• 2 stages at our Experimental Hutch

  • High Resoution (HR)

• Medium Resolution (MR)

• 1 Stage at the Monochromator Hutch

After the tomography is done, we use Tomwer as a reconstruction software, for 2D and 3D volumes.

Is it possible to use ImageJ as a slice viewer and on-the-fly data analysis.

Finally, you can use your preferred 3D render, as DragonFly, Blender, VGStudio, etc...
