Stress

ADMET 5kN stress rig

A miniature stress rig from ADMET is available for use in both EH1 and EH3 experimental hutches. The device is controlled via the ADMET MTESTQuattro software package and data are logged into image.

Nanox micro tensile stress rig

Nanox is a miniature loadframe (tensile loading only)  for in situ experiments with 500 N max load and 500 µm stroke.
The device features a piezo-actuator (-30V ... +120V) and can be used for tensile-tensile (R > 0) fatigue loading up to about 50 Hz.

There is no displacement sensor:  strain / sample displacement can only be "measured" via image correlation techniques (not available on site, but you can bring your own device to set it up during the experiment).
