VIEW

(Author: Werner Gebhard, Max-Planck Institute for medical Research, Heidelberg)

  • is used for visualizing data images as well as control images produced by xds. To display an image, type VIEW image_file_name, like for example VIEW FRAME.pck; to quit, type q.
  • responds to navigation commands entered by movements of a mouse and reports the corresponding image coordinates and their pixel content upon activation of the mouse-buttons. VIEW assumes that the pixel content is represented as a binary 16 bit integer. This results in negative values being reported if the true pixel counts were actually larger than 32767.
  • allows magnification of selected image portions and change in color. The available options are reported by typing VIEW -h.
