DESCRIPTION:The aim of the Workshop is to assess the present possibilities and future perspectives for electron spectroscopy at current and next generation synchrotron radiation sources\, using hard X-rays up to and beyond 10 keV. The workshop will concentrate on possible applications in science and technology\, high-resolution spectroscopy of photoelectrons with high kinetic energy\, and the combination of HArd X-ray PhotoElectron Spectroscopy (HAXPES) with other techniques. Detector technology and development as well as beamline optics will be discussed during the meeting.
