SUMMARY:How much can coherent imaging bring to the study of structural materials
UID:20260517T232944Z-uidGen@ovm-jahia-app1.esrf.fr
DESCRIPTION:Abstract:  Nuclear reactors present a unique environment that combines stress\, high pressure\, high temperature\, irradiation\, and corrosive constraints. In this presentation\, I will discuss the latest development in trying to integrate coherent imaging techniques in a more standard laboratory environment for the study of radiation induced damaged in structural materials such as those used in nuclear reactors.    While coherent imaging provides a very spatial high resolution and sensitivity to lattice strain\, designing industry relevant samples that fit the constraints of most CDI techniques can be complex\, and sometimes yield interesting but complex results. What complementary techniques are available within the synchrotron community\, and otherwise at universities and national laboratories? How can we keep developing CDI techniques to tackle advanced phase retrieval problems and / or industrial relevance?
