DESCRIPTION:EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR NEW & UPGRADED BEAMLINES ID24 & BM23 X-ray Absorption beamlines Raffaella Torchio\, ESRF scientist in charge of ID24-ED & HPLF facility ABSTRACT BM23 and ID24\, with its two branches ID24-DCM and ID24-ED\, are beamlines dedicated to X-ray Absorption spectroscopy.  These beamlines make a unit\, sharing personnel\, equipment and scientific aims. Nevertheless\, they feature very different capabilities and parameters\, leading to complementary scientific cases. BM23 is a multipurpose beamline\, whereas both branches of ID24 have been optimised for specific and more challenging experiments.
