Sydor Technologies has developed a suite of x-ray detector products to support global synchrotron research.

  1. The Keck-PAD which is a large area x-ray detector (512 x 512 pixels) that takes 8 frames at 6.6 MHz and can be built with Si or CdTe as the sensor material. Ideal for single shot and irreversible experiments.
  2. The MM-PAD which is a large area x-ray detector (512 x 512 pixels) with exceptional dynamic range ~10⁷ photons/pixel/frame that operates continuously at up to 1.1 kHz and can also be made with Si or CdTe as the sensor material. Ideal for coherent scattering experiments.
  3. Diamond-based x-ray beam position monitors (DBPMs) that can be used for position, intensity, or flux monitoring of x-ray beams. We have several standard vacuum and gas-purge models available, and we have built custom DBPMs for white beams.

During our talk, we will give an overview of all our detectors and a few examples of their unique capabilities.
