Beauty of science: dental enamel

The image was generated from the analysis of 2D X-ray diffraction patterns collected on the XMaS beamline by an interdisciplinary team led by Maisoon Al-Jawad (Queen Mary, University of London, UK) and it will be used to model the 3D crystallisation processes occurring during enamel maturation.
