NORMALISE

Divides element by element each element of the current data ROI by the initial maximum element in the ROI (provided the maximum is greater than $1.0^{-19}$)²⁴. If the maximum is below this value, zero, or negative, a warning message will be issued and the data will be left unchanged. If a variance array exists error propagation will be performed.

This operation is performed in-place in the current data arrays. The ROI of the current data is replaced by the normalised values.
