ID11 Laboratories location

Behind EH3 are two laboratories that belong to ID11. These contain an optical microscope, furnace and various basic supplies, primarily materials for mounting samples.

ID11 Sample preparation laboratory

If you want to use the ESRF support laboratories (i.e. for accessing chemicals, polishing benches, other instrumentation), you have to book them in advance via the A-Form. For access to the chemistry laboratory, fill in the user declaration form (.doc)(.pdf) and return it to the user office at least 15 days before the starting date of the experiment. Please clarify these points with you local contact well in advance of the experiment to make sure any facilities, materials etc that you require will be available.
