Email can be accessed with two methods:

  • either via the Webmail interface accessible in secure mode for everyone with a mail account. Transfers are encrypted to avoid spying. The username and password are the same as those used internally to access email via Thunderbird.

  • or Transparent using either Thunderbird or proprietary mail applications (unsupported) like on the smart phones or tablets.

 

In addition:

  • ESRF email can be forwarded to an external address.
  • A vacation notice can be set/unset.
