Users' Meeting 2010 & Associated Workshops

Grenoble, 8 - 12 February, 2010

This year the Users' Organization has decided to extend the plenary session to a one and a half day format in order to cover a large spectrum of ESRF activities and encourage interactions between scientists of different communities. The plenary meeting will be held on February 10-11 and will feature 6 plenary lectures, a presentation on the status of the facility, a talk by the winner of the Young Scientist Award, topical and interdisciplinary parallel sessions, and will close with a common session with feedback from the parallel sessions and discussion of general ESRF matters.

A joint poster session and a banquet at the ESRF site will give the opportunity to discuss with fellow researchers, stimulate new ideas and new scientific collaborations.

• Workshop on "Science with X-ray Nano-beams" ("Nanobeam workshop")
  9 - 12  February 2010
• Workshop on "Science at High Pressure: Initiative for the creation of an ILL/ESRF Partnership for Extreme Conditions Science" ("PECS workshop")
  9 - 11 February 2010
• School "Getting the most from the ESRF MX beamlines"
  8 - 11 February 2010
